Third place sure seems quite impressive to the guy in 4th place, or 5th or further behind, not to mention the spectators. It may not be as good as Cobras, Mustangs, etc., but it's not to be dismissed

Good points. You might contact Tom Hall directly, though. I'm not sure if he's taking on any more crossmembers, but he not only has the correct jigs and fixtures, he's also engineered some more fixes
