When fitting the wing brace to the light, take time to get the brace to fit without tension. That will go a long way in preventing stress and cracks at the wing light. /// /// morgans@autox.team.net

I had the exact same thing on a +4. Sure it rode hard, but that's what I expected from all I heard about a Morgan! Hey, who knew? Anyway, my fix was to keep applying Liquid Wrench for a few days then

Keep in mind that gear oil is rated differently than motor oil. As far as viscosity I recall 30W motor oil of about the same viscosity as 75W gear oil. I'm quite happy with Redline MTL for the Moss b

There is a small chance the fitting itself has been damaged. You might try switching the two and see if that gets you anywhere.
