Ben, Find out if the distributor was curved and set for ported or intake vacuum...if ported, find a port on the carb that does not have vacuum until the throttle is open, if intake...then find a port

I'm not sure if this applies with the available V8 kits r not...but when we put the BBC and TH400 in my '57...we couldn't use a 3spd floorpan...needed to use a 4spd floorpan with the "hump" in it. Al

make Any 60-72? Chevy/GMC pickup is 6-lug, and fairly common. I don't think (and it shouldn't matter anyways) that he has Huck Brakes on the GMC of this vintage. I'd agree here, if you're an ameteur

ratio Deve, This is what I can tell ya about my '59...235 w/3.55's and 30.5 inch tall tires...I could easily add OD and have plently of highway power and torque...problem with going to a higher geare
