Tools I have seen and own some; Herbrand...yes Bonney, Plvmb, Hazet, Williams, Electrolite, Blackhawk, .....some of these lesser known companies are still around. Just not common to see them for sale

Back in the 70's the rage was to paint the engine internal valleys and cavities with Rustoleum Damp Proof Red Primer. I had an engine which I did this way and the paint was still intact for 30 yrs. I

are you aware that almost all aftermarket crankshafts are now made in China? This includes SCAT and CAT cranks. What is happening to us in the US of A ?????

Just glad I am not building a high performance race engine and then forced to use a Chinese crankshaft. I also hear their balancing act leaves alot to be desired. Sounds un-american to me.

Turbochargers on diesel rigs will spin up to about 120,000 rpm + They do have a nice sound to them!
