When doing adjustments on dual carb setups don't forget to run it a little and then look at plugs. I had adjusted carbs using everything including Gunson co meter but looking at plugs gave some hints

I am rebuilding HIF 4 carbs from 74B. Question is where is float level measured from, Center of float between peaks or at top of lower peak? Manual I believe says top of lower peak and rebuild video

I have just rebuilt my carbs with the aid of the video from Moss Motors. Very helpful to see it being done and then do it. Problem is there are two discrepencies between video and SU/Haynes manuals.O

This is what the SU manual says for HIF4. Recheck your video and I believe you said the opposite in it. The video was still great help and confidence builder. Just took B for spin and running great.
