I always split my MG calipers when I rebuild them, MGAs and MGBs. It is fairly impossible to install the new rubber and metal retainer parts unless you split the calipers. I rebolt them back up agai

Thanks for the info on Baker Precision. I think that the 8 volt Battery Tender is the answer to the Thunderbird charging problem. I going to order one tomorrow. Thanks also to all of the kind people
