Other than the fear of getting brake fluid on the car.... just install it and use the pedal instead of fighting w/ a vice setup. (Obviously be real careful as it may splash) Too simple eh ? Laurie :-

Dwell = the # of distributor shaft degrees that the point remain CLOSED. When they are closed, the coil is busy building up V's (from 12 to 25k-35K) to send off through the plug wires. Easy enough. T

The two part polyurethane will probaly not be affected by the acetone. (least ways the stuff I've used in making signs et c.) The answer is really simple and low-tech: Elmers Glue or actually any PVA

There could be your answer right there - HEAT. Did it start up after cooling down ? Could be as simple as vapor lock. ( had it happen to me here in the PHX area - it was only 110* ish out the middle

Got gear oil ? Might be wise to start there - even possibly changing it. Easy enough to check ! If it's ran low, a rear-end can make a heck of a howling/whistling noise- one that can be MPH-specific
