My '77 RB Midget 1500 has 53,500 miles. As far as I know, the engine has not been rebuilt, although it has been through a few owners and it's possible it has been. I have a newly rebuilt engine ready

I recently asked for help with two problems, and got plenty of good advice. Thanks to all. Wanted to report back on what worked: (1977 RB Midget, desmogged, Weber DGV, Mallory dual-point ignition) PR

My recently-acquired '77 Midget has a backfiring problem when the accelerator is released suddenly and the engine is winding down (is "overrunning" the correct term?) Not being much of a engine mecha

I'm a brand-new MG owner (1977 Midget 1500) with a "silly question". At highway speeds I'm wound up to about 3500 RPM, which seems (and sounds) pretty high. Is this normal, or has the axle ratio been
