In my opinion, a relatively sound, well-tuned (and basically stock) TR engine doesn't require anything more than a relatively sound original Lucas starter. There's a good argument for using the gear-

TR4A. Sills should not be a problem, as I believe they are as per TR6 and should be from original or 'Heritage' tooling. TR4/4A fenders, though, have been a problem for many years. I've heard stories
