I've seen a writeup; will look. Manifold off a Hunter has to be cut and arc welded minus 10 degrees of slope to offset the Alpine vertical engine setup. Hunter engines lean 10 degrees. Acutally that

If he is unsure on timing (he "feels" ...) have him check the pully mark at TDC, and whether the rotor button is pointing at #1. Then do the spark to the plugs test, then fuel to the carb, etc. Allan
