Carlos, I'd suggest staying away from Fram filters. When I had them fitted, I would suffer a 10 lb oil pressure reduction. Other filters (i.e. NAPA, Wix, etc.) resulted in a 10 lb. increase in pressu

Hi Tom: No, I have not tried that. I do know that the thermistor beads are tiny. In fact, they're very tiny, and it wouldn't surprise me if they were to fail under continuous high temperature usage.
