Hi all, so it's like this, see. I fit a new seal to the trunk lock, which pads it out by about 1mm. I close the trunk. The 1mm padding prevents the lock button from fully depressing the catch, so the

Hi all, thanks for your suggestions. I have solved the problem by depressing the button as far as possible, then pressing in against the licence plate with my knee. It was just enough to make it let
