I restored a hardtop this year with deteriorated chrome on latches. Removed pins by drilling top and driving out. Had rechromed and reassembled by using drill bits from Harbor Freight as replacement

Completely rebuilt my braking system in 1986. All traces of Dot 3 removed. Used Dot 5 silicone and have experienced no failures including booster. Do not flush or change..It is ageless. YMMV Gary B94

I paint my own because I'm cheap. I have found Spies Hecker to be very good. Used to do their lacquer, now single stage urethane. Biggest cost was remote air mask system. Regards, Gary B9472283
