Sounds like the rear shocks are under-damping the suspension. I'd recommend changing the shock-oil to slightly heavier oil. Use Spectro Motorcycle fork oil. Start with 20 wt and see how you like it.

It shouldn't affect the shocks at all assuming your check straps in the back are OK and you're bump stops in the front are OK. I'd be more worried about frame warping having the thing off the ground
