Depends what you mean by rusty spots: if they are holes, they should ideally be welded, fiberglass as an alternative. If you are just talking about the dimpling you get with age, bondo is fine. Andre

No - the glass prevents an insert. But I did order 2 of the bolt-through tenax, per the other Randall, and we'll see if I can manipulate them around the glass. Andrew Andrew, can you tap the hole one

Ah yes, the dip switch. Not to be confused with the American term for a previous dumb owner - the dipstick. Thank you, Randall (and others) - I really had forgotten. Andrew Dipper switch, I believe.

Did all the holes get welded up? There was a change somewhere between TS 50,000 and 70,000 where they went from ribbed letters to smooth letters. I have an early apron with holes for the ribbed lette

When I restored my TR3B I bought 4 new fenders (at around a grand apiece) and had to cut, weld and fill them. Maybe the car was the wrong shape, but they just would not fit. For my latest restoration
