Like I said earlier Chassis lube will work fine, some are not as heavy as other find one that is not as heavy. If you want, adding 90 weight gear oil to it will not hurt but I would use the 90 wt. ge

As for the oil I would have filled the oil filter with oil, the viscosity of the oil is fine that is what I would use. I have rebuilt engines for 30 years . not a bad engine yet. as for the starter I
