I have a related question- how tight do you tighten the center cap? The center of my wheel is tapered and the nut has a tapered hole, so the nut doesn't tighten down suddenly but tightens gradually.

My experience is that they will come loose in less then 10 miles if towed in reverse. Anybody got a replacement nut for the lefthand side?

Buy a cheap socket and turn it down. If you buy a new socket and turn it down, you lose the warranty anyway. By turn it down, I think you could do that with a bench grinder if you are careful.
