Does anybody know how the large plugs on the sides of these calipers, used to machine the bores, are sealed? I have one NR caliper that is weeping fluid past this plug, and I don't want to open it up

I want to run no advance at all, either mechanical or vacuum - and my fear is that starting will be a real bear. I run about 38 deg btdc timing, and that's a lot to expect the engine to start with,
