Sounds like you talked to some a--holes. Most all liquid containers come marked in both measures here. Most of my tools are duplicated in metric sizes, since I've driven Japan or Euro cars for years.

The last time I ran into backfiring/afterfiring while under way at around half throttle it was caused by leaky valves that allowed combusting gases into the manifolds. This was on a '76 Dodge 360 V8.

Approximation, my foot! When I rebuilt the front end on my B I used the "Moss tool" to set the toe in. I had it checked at an alignment shop and it was spot on. Haven't touched it since. CR
