Air compressor oil is easier to find around here than non-detergent motor oil. It's funny, when I first installed my OD tranny, the rear seal leaked. I replaced the seal, not the 20W-50 oil. No leak

I guess you'll have to ask yourself how likely you are to pull the radiator, pulleys, & etc, to change the cam timing after you have it running again. Methinks you can buy quite a few keys for $200.
