Another add i read on the crossflow head said that you could do 11:1 with 93 octane,and they actually tested this.For a daily driven car I wouldn't go any higher than 9.5:1 myself. Chris Eaton '70 MG

Had a similar experience just yesterday.Beautiful girl in a honda civic who was totally full of herself and her car. I guess she just didn't realize the downfall of having an auto trannie in her car.

This is just a guess,but maybe your oil pressure drops due to viscosity breakdown under heat.If your oil gets thinner that would explain the drop in pressure at high RPM's over long distances.
