I would recommend the oil cooler route. We had a modified half shaft with mechanical pump and belt. It sometimes spit the belt. An electric setup would be the best choice given you run an alternator.

Don't overfill the diff, it is designed to run in a shallow amount of fluid, not in a bath. Definitely use synthetic as it will run cooler Sent from my iPhone ________________________________________
