I also pulled a 210 tranny out of a junkyard and put it right into the Midget. Has been just great, and I have not done a rebuild. Some year I probably will (It's a tad noisy in 5th, but not too bad)

Bicycle cable is what I used. It's been in there for a couple of years now. As I remember, I used a derailleur cable rather than a brake cable 'cause of the shape of the cast end. Just take (bring ?)
