My '69 MGB/GT originally did not come fitted w/ a fuel filter. I think a filter w/ a straight fitting and a right-angle type fitting would fit most naturally, connected between the braided fuel hose

The heater duct in the bottom of the heater box has a felt covered flap. On my '69 MGB/GT the felt strips are coming off... what kind of glue do you suggest for attaching the felt to the metal flap?
