I found checking the ball joints pretty tough when installed on the car. I check BJs by grabbing the tire in the verticle and rocking it checking for any play especially rocking the lower part of the

You can easily modify a 1600 mount to fit by opening the mounting holes in the mount. I have a 1600 and 2000 mount and they are identical except the 2000 has larger holes. 1600 mounts are still avail
