in. open end wrenches in half or shorter - I've got 3 of em (different offsets) Removing the valve cover is an alternative to short wrenches. Whether it is preferable or not is up to you.

Hmm. It sure sounds like it is overheating. Perhaps it is not showing on the gauge. And the reason it would not show on the gauge is because the overheating is localized somewhere in the engine. This

Yes I have. And with abysmal results. Any more I will preset it by eyeballing down the edge of the front tires to the rear tires and then head over to a local alignment shop who will do it right for

What is the Pin method? And, yes, all you can normally adjust on the TR4, as in the TR2 and 3, is the toe in. The shop I took my TR3 to could not do the thrust angle (four wheel) alignment on the TR6

Have you tried double pumping the clutch and see if that changes anything. If it fixes the problem then you need to check the thrust washers in the engine. If there is too much float in the crank it
