I think shimming the pedestal would fix the pushrod-to-rocker angle, but it would mess up the valve-rocker angle. Ideally you would get shorter pushrods. BTW, if you get a reground cam, it will have

They make a special wheel bearing grease for boat trailer wheels, which get dunked regularly. Maybe that would be a good thing to use?

The front wheel bearings are of conventional design, but the seals can be a pain to install without damaging them. Once I ended up having to take the felt from the new seals and glue it to the origin
