Powder coating would be great. One problem is the type of solder used on the tanks. Powder coat goes on at 435 degrees min. If the solder is high temp no problem. Moonstone

Have the tank blasted under low pressure with Alum. Oxide. Give a uniform satin surface, then spray with automotive primer (can be bought in a can) and then two coats of black. Didn't use powder coat

That is true. We have a cook off oven that goes to 2500 degrees if needed, that would do some real remodeling of the expansion tank! Sean

When bleeding or evacuating the brake fluid you can get rubber hose that slips over the bleeder after it is loosened and put the other end in a can to catch the old brake fluid. Makes clean up easier

Don't try to guess when the booster will fail, that's a sure way to have a close encounter with something very hard. Rebuilds on boosters are not cheap unless you consider the alternative brake failu
