In the fwiw department, early Model A Fords (1928) used a mulitplate clutch which was about half the size of a 'standard' diameter one of the time. I have one in one of my sprinters. It works fine an

I've been mulling over the weekend before adding my observations. Didn't want to make any snap judgments. For those that haven't attended the event, it's always been a mishmash of eligible VSCCA cars

For an official view of VSCCA rules/regs on eligible cars, contact Jerry Greaves. I can supply an address off line. My understanding (not official) follows: The VSCCA was formed in 1959 as an off-sho

I would venture a guess that the car would be welcome in the VSCCA. Jerry Greeves, who is the ultimate decider on these matters, races a stock bodied Hot Shot and would most likely ok a special based

I used to have a Chey 3/4T van w/350 and now have a 1/2T Suburban w/350. Although the Sub is a nicer vehicle all round, the van was a better tow vehicle. Lighter w/better brakes.

In my 'other' life (non-TD) I race a 1932 era Ford based Sprint Car. The rear axle is Model A Ford, which like all Fords up to 1949, in a non-floating design. Hot rodders, circle trackers etc., have
