If you have a welding torch then use it to heat up the nut (keep the heat on the nut only) until it is red hot. Then while it is still red hot remove it with a wrench . It should come off easily. Eri

You should have gotten two small T shaped cork gaskets that go one on each side of the little block that covers the front main bearing. If the leak is comming from there you will have to start over

IMHO I would guess that 80-85% is just tinkering because you would like your Morgan to be either perfect or improved in some way. With normal maintainance the Morgan is as reliable as any other car.
