Need to pick the collective knowledge of the group. I picked up, for free, two transmissions that look like MGA 1500's but are different. One is a three speed with two shift levers on the side cover.

Mark Dodd asked about emissions control equipment on the MGC. I believe all US spec MGC's were equipped with an air pump, air rail and PCV. Our 1968 MGC/GT sn 3743 is stock and has all of the above.
