I used this M/C on a SV Alpine it is almost a bolt in, just swap the rod from the original and put a new fitting on the line. These cost about $50 from Wilwood. I have no connection to this auction.

I emailed the seller of the Fastback Alpine and it seems the car is a plain jane Alpine GT, with Strombergs. No webers, no finned oil pan, no Holbay valve cover, no OD and most likely no sale at $2k.

I will second that, cleaning the gasket surfaces and getting all the oil off is a pain with the engine in place. Pull it and heck while it is out you could give it a good cleaning and paint it. Then

Gave the head on my new engine the Vizard treatment. It is not difficult, you can do it with a hand drill and the aluminum is soft so a cheap cutter will last, you just have to keep picking the clogs
