Get a good set of telescoping gauges. Easier to use and therefore often more accurate than an inside micrometer. Cheaper, too, as you only have to pay for the number-reading parts on your outside mic

You don't need to throw away the light. Just use a proper bulb. Rough-service bulb with the tough rubbery skin over the glass. I have a FLUORESCENT trouble light as well as a couple of standard types

The method of setting camber has nothing to do with whether the spindle uses kingpins or ball joints. Or, for that matter, trunnions. Yes. Also, many shim changes will also affect caster. Nonsense.

Montgomery Ward PowrKraft tools were life-time warranted too. After they discontinued the line, I broke one and brought it back to Wards. They gave me a Thorson, which they were selling at that time.
