The header on the '68 I just picked up from fellow Lister Mike Nugent a three piece header design. I'm not sure how the gaskets are used on the joining piece if it uses one, which I assume it would.

A gallon of brake fluid is cheap for ensuring you have good brakes. I'd flush it all out twice fully. Used or flushed brake fluid is good for removing paint off metal parts such as valve covers. -Veg
