My tachometer needle jumps around between 2 and 3 thousand rpm. Below and above that it is steady. Does this mean something is amiss or is about to be? Marty 76 Spitfire

Thanks for the the info on centering the PDWA valve. I didn't have any luck doing it either by foot or hand. I ended up taking the valve apart and the shuttle seemed jamed slightly into the front bra
