- Health and storage problems force sale of my vintage car. It's a Renault R-8, raced from new, set up as last raced in l973. It's a ll00 in C sedan. It needs a cell and fire system, but is race ready.

- I've usable Alfa 1600 crankshafts, but they are 10/30,20/30, and 30/30. Sorry. I also have an extra 750 series crank. Regards Gary Wood

- I doubt if your problem is the filter. An oil system with cold oil can reach pressures of several hundred #'s. The only time I've ever blown up a filter was a cold morning at Hallet when the oil pump
