I just changed the fuel pump on my 76 Midget. Now when I press the accelerator hard, it wants to heesitate and feels like its going to choke down. It doesn't do this if I accelerate very softly. Also

To check and see if its your fuel pump, remove the fuel line going into the fuel filter and put a cup under it. Try to crank the a couple of times and see if any fuel gets into the cup. If not you've
