I used JB Weld to fill in the hole, then sanded it, then used a good black spray to refinish it (can't remember the paint). That was 5 years ago and it still looks good. Bill BJ7

Ran into that exact problem last year on my BJ7. Sears has a set of sockets that will take them off. They are specificately made for rounded or broken bolts.I tired every way under the son to remove
