Has anyone wired up a push button starter on their Spit before? Is it safe to put a push button on the white wire (top fuse, ignition) and just have that going through the push button to the starter

I took mine off once - and drove down the motorway at 70-80mph - there was a noticable loss in stability. It may have been compensating for a slightly poor set up front end - but it was noticable. Ha
