I have never even attempted to bleed the clutch slave that way. I get under the car, take the slave off the car, and bleed it where I can see it and get my hands on it.

Mine worked. I replaced the original starter on my 1966 Sprite with a gear reduction unit from an Isuzu truck. No issues whatsoever, except I had to make an indent in the passenger footbox to fit it.

In my experience, the Speed Glaze or Machine Glaze will remove minor oxidation, but what I notice is that if the surface is too dull to start with, the shine after the speed glaze is a little hazy.

If you lost a metal piece or a magnet that normally sits on that disk, you would have an "every speed" miss because that plug would never know to fire. It would be like missing the lobe on a cam.
