Do any of you FOT'ers have a recommendation of a good machine shop in the SF Bay Area? I am prepping 3x TR250/6 blocks and need someone to line bore the cam journals to accept Spitfire cam bearings.

I've used different motorcycle fork oil weights over the years and found 40 wt. works well in my street TR250. Heavier for the TR6 racer. If your seals are weak, you will blow them out however. I be

Chuck, This is a fairly common problem when assembling the TR trans. Try flipping the transmission upside down. This will allow the laygear to rest on the mainshaft gears and hopefully take and load

Ted and Greg, I have one of these Sachs pressure plates that came with my ex-Mueller TR6, adaptor spacer and mounted to a Mother Mueller Flywheel.B It runs a stock TR6 clutch.B I ran it on my street

Jason, My reason for asking is I'm prepping 2x GT6+ heads for use on my TR6 racer. Both heads are 517528 p/n. The stock CR as fitted to a GT+ (mk2) is 9.2:1 I believe. I thought an early mk3 was 8.5:
