I have never had a consumption problem with mobile 1 on turbocharged Audis or my mr2 turbo...but thy probably have much tighter tolerances than American engines. No offence intended by that comment,

I definitely see the appeal of a Triumph with some more power under the hood and easier to find parts, but the automatic transmission would be a deal breaker for me. That is going to be a tough sale.
