If is is loosing fluid, and it is not on the ground, then the slave cylinder is not leaking. If the master is leaking, it will often be soaked up by the carpet and sound padding up by the firewall. U

I had a few old Bugs when I lived in North Dakota in the '70's. For that region, the optional heater (mounted in the front 'trunk') was installed in nearly all VW's. They all used gasoline, though. T

I'm pulling the Solex's from my '69 to change the accelerator pump hole. Does the single linkage rod with the ball socket on each end just pop off either end? I'm afraid to apply too much pressure..

I got my ColorTune from Eastwoods a few years ago (at Keith Williams recommendation). It really is quite a tool. Works best in early evening, or in the garage so you can see the colors better. -John
