I had Brooklands Aeroscreens on my old TR3 vintage racecar that I occasionally drove on the street in Maryland. No problems with Law Enforcement. Maybe I was just lucky that I never was pulled over.

Yes, that's why they put the adjustable cowl flaps on the BACK of the cowling. Except for those oddball Russian radials that have the shutters on the front. John H. That's what I was thinking.

Am I missing something? Why not just install a SPST switch under the dash or in some unobtrusive place that will control the fan? You can turn it on when the temp gauge gets too high. Or turn it on
