Sorry I do not have a Cord, but then one is not needed as the rules do not require that the the rear wheels drive the car only that the front steer it and that all four are not driven. -- Jim Schuett

my current thinking is for XF/MR. The car would be a '27 T with conventional engine-trans layout but the trans output would be to a transfer-case or marine style V-drive with the drive shaft running

I agree with the drag loss in the V-drive but I plan to use the standard quick-change gear sets in the V-drive. Also this keeps a larger % of the weight on the front without the use of ballast. Thank
