Why not scan it in sections and paste them together in Photoshop. You could take out the yellow while you are at it. Dave I had looked into this a bit myself and it's complicated by three factors: -

Where you are when you do the compression test makes a difference. I live near Denver (5280') and usually get between 125-140lb on my cars. If you are near sea level, you will get different results.

My guess would be the springs in the synchro hubs that push out the ball bearings that keep the sliding synchro sleeves in place. I had several broken ones in my GT6 box. Do you feel the same amount
