Jim, if I remember correctly, the air deflector is only attached by the bumper upright supports that go through the grill. These go through a hole in the deflector and are bolted to the inner fender.

Not necessarily. If the line between the tank and the pump were blocked or the is tank is not vented you would not get any gas either. Disconnect the fuel line before the pump. Gas should flow out -

I was thinking that the issue was with the part of the snap that is attached to the hood, not the car. Was I wrong or does the plastic washer under the stud help that also? Anyway, my local TruValue
