Gents ... the early 'B'(pre 18V) cylinder heads have 1.58' intake valves and a 43cc combustion chamber ... the later 'B' (18V) cylinder heads have 1.625' intake valves and a 38cc combustion chamber.

I got mine from an MGB 3-main engine ... the timing marks need to be on the bottom. If you hold the timing cover so that the MOWOG stamp is horizontal ... the correct cover will have the timing marks
