OK, so I think at least I (emphasis on "I") didn't understand the question. Apparently your car is negative ground. So maybe you are suggesting running the power directly from the battery to the amp

When we moved the moving company put my Por@#$e in the moving van. At each end of the trip they found a loading dock that the car could be driven on. A simple matter then, just drive it in the truck.
