My side markers were in similar condition. I sacrificed the bulbs, knowing they wouldn't come out willingly by twisting the glass globes off with gloved hands. I was able to remove the metal portion

The 60-70 roadsters will keep you going back to sears to buy another wrench! Fasteners for the body/frame are SAE, and the engine (parts of it, anyway) are metric. I think the tranny is SAE. Fun! ==

I believe the original poster had some POR 'laying around' made no mention of it being the high temp stuff. If it isn't the heat resistant stuff (flames on the can) leave it off the exhaust.
